Joey got his start in music as a teenager with friend Keith Vosbury (Robin's brother) in a band that Keith and Greg Fulco formed called "Gangster". Joey was influenced by many kinds of music since childhood that included Rock, Country and Western and Jazz. In the early 80's, Joey got involved in the technical end of music and began running sound for several different groups local as well as several national acts. In the mid 90's, Joey joined the group "Linea Fayard & 8-Track" as their sound man. It was not long before the group had Joey singing harmony parts from the mixing console. By Early 2000, Linea left the band and Joey took over as the front man for the group and started handling all of the business. The band from that point, was simply called 8-Track, and remains one of the areas most sought after musical groups.
Joey will let anyone know that he is blessed to have two people in the group that influenced him a great deal as a teenager. He recalls sneeking into clubs when he was 16 or 17 years old to see Robin and Kerry playing the at those clubs. But "I always got kicked out" says Joey!
