The Wizard has been playing almost literally all his life. He started with the ukelele and first appeared on stage at the age of 3. He started "full-time" on the local scene at the Riverboat Lounge in 1976 at the age of 15 (you could do that THEN!). Along with 8-Track drummer, Mike Owens, he was a memeber of the local legend band The Crawdads for many years. He bagan "touring" with Columbia recording artist Claude King ("Wolverton Mountain") at the age of 18, and has traveled and worked in 49 states, 4 Canadian provinces, and in Mexico. He has appeared on Hee Haw, Crook and Chase, Nashville Now, New Country, Live at the Grizzly Rose and several other national television and radio brodcasts. He "retired" from touring in the mid 90's, and went back into his other chosen career---law enforcement. He is currently the Investigator for the LSUHSCS University Police Department.
